15 Things Women Notice First in a Man Over 50

50. Is it the number of times you have tried to understand a man?

Maybe it truly is the amount of ways to leave your lover.

On this special occasion, it is the age women start to double take a man, where they notice differences in a man more mature.

What is this? Who is this person who seems to have themselves a little more figured out than they did even just a few years ago?

50 is a golden year, and a golden age. Here’s why.

1. Difference in Confidence

I think this is pretty standard for anybody of a certain age, but with men, there seems to be a more confident outlook over the age of 50.

I don’t want you to mistake arrogance for confidence in younger years, but sadly, many men can be this very thing.

It’s only time and wisdom that allows for a new trait to be brought to the surface.

Confidence is sexy, and a lot of women are attracted to this aspect of older men.

2. Grooming Habits

Well groomed men have spent years getting to know themselves, what suits them, what their skin and hair work well with, and how to style their image out.

Once men get to the age of 50, they’ve pretty much got themselves taken care of in that department, and it is noticeable to women.

The more a man grooms, the more a woman knows how much he likes to take care of himself.

Self-care is important – no matter your gender!

3. Posture

This kind of goes hand in hand with confidence, doesn’t it? I love the idea of people carrying themselves with an added height and assurance of themselves without coming across as cocky.

I think that’s something you master in older age, and I know women notice it in men over 50.

There’s an exude of strength in standing tall. I’m here for it.

4. Shoes

To all you men over 50, style it out my brothers!

I know it sounds crazy, but women do notice what shoes men wear, and I think once they get to the age of 50, they’re going to be choosing to send out good messages with their footwear.

I know so many people who just wear sneakers for ease, but get to 50 and it all seems to change.

Shoes become a conscious part of an outfit, and that only comes from taking just an extra minute to decide what you’re wearing when you step out the door.

5. Scent

A clean, fresh scent for the win, every time!

That might come from good hygiene, or good cologne. Let’s celebrate am an who knows how to smell great over 50.

6. Energy Levels

Energy level don’t have to decrease by the time you hit 50. If anything, you can converse a lot of it simply by cutting out the crap int your life and leaving space for what you enjoy doing.

Those over 50 get it!

7. Conversational Skills

Conversational skills are learned over the course of a lifetime, but I do know by the time you hit 50, you’re far more likely to be able to hold one for longer, and with added quality.

Women like and notice a man with insight, forethought, who listens and engages well.

Something to think about if you’re wanting to improve your conversational skills.

8. Manners

Chivalry seems to be a thing of the past for the younger generations – at the risk of sounding like an old man!

However, with age comes a little more self-realization and the ability to think about what is good in practice as well as reality.

Open doors, say please and thank you – it goes a long way.

Those over 50 will understand.

9. Style

Whether it’s a sharp blazer or well fitted pants, men over 50 just know how to dress well.

Women see a well-dressed man as somebody who likes to take the time not just to present well, but to take care of the clothes they own.

What statement on both sides of the coin to make.

10. Sense of Humor

A sense of humor grows well as a person ages (unless they’re some kind of immature person or narcissist), and that’s a pretty noticeable trait that women like to notice in men over 50.

There’s something attractive about being just the right amount of funny. If a man can also laugh at himself – that’s even better!

11. Teeth

The older a person gets, the older their teeth also get. We put them through a tough time, don’t we? Food, wine and all in between!

If a man over 50 still has nice teeth and loves to show them off, then that’s a strong sign they’re both thoughtful of their oral health as well as conscious about looking good.

Both are a big win for women!

12. Attitude Toward Aging

If a man is embracing the fact that he’s getting older instead of constantly trying to act 25, then what a win.

It’s a thing women will notice because they don’t want to have to constantly babysit an overgrown teenager. They want a man who is sure of himself and strong in his decisions.

Women love a good communicator, so aging also includes wanting and needing a high level of emotional maturity.

If you’re aging gracefully, you want to make sure the emotions are also regulated.

For those over 50 with a healthy attitude to aging – I salute you.

14. Lifestyle Choices

Health. What a minefield. What does it cover?

Health is mental, physical, and emotional. Without good levels of overall health, you’re not going to fire on all the cylinders created for you.

The older men get, the more they appreciate that any kind of health isn’t to be taken for granted.

They value it, and want to prove they are responsible enough to make good choices.

I think it’s fair to say those kinds of men are noticed by women.

15. Level of Interest in the Woman

If you’re a woman, you will know how important it is for a man to display genuine interest in you.

You don’t want your time wasted. You don’t want emotions to be invested into something with no sustenance.

If you find a man over the age of 50, they are far more likely to not want to waste any unnecessary time, either.

What’s the point? It’s far better to just be honest, listen, ask questions and be the valued and thoughtful man.

Displaying a level of interest in a woman is going to get you noticed for all the best reasons you can think of.
